We the audiance first see Janet Leigh and John Gavin just after they've had sex. We go in through a window. Later we share Perkins watching of Leigh getting undressed and in Arbogast the detective is a watcher we see him looking at John Gavin and Vera Miles before talking to them.

One great thing about psycho when we first see Janet Leigh, after we go in though a window. The first time we see her she wears a white bra but then when we see her again after she steals the money she wears a black bra.

Psycho is a film which displays great desing elements as well as an unusual story structure.

It has three different sets of protagonists, a structure taken directly from the novel by Robert Bloch, but still an unusual struture. Each section is given over to one of these different protagonists.
